John James McCarthy (1892-1939) married Edith Parker (1896-1971)at register office Fulham 28/02/1920 witnessed by Daniel McCarthy his brother. (on 1891 census address was 1 Pembroke Place,Kensington.) Lived at 72 Rayleigh Rd & 5 Chelmsford St. Later lived at 72 Adeney Rd Fulham. Please help me to find the McCarthy's side of my family, JJ died when my mum was only 4, she doesn't know much. His father was John deceased at the time of 1891 census, had been a scaffolder, mother Mary was head of house also aunt Ellen lived with them. On the 1891 census Mary Mc Carthy widow head of house age 43 Daniel Mc Carthy son age 12 John J Mc Carthy son aged 10 (my grandad) Mary E Mc Carthy daughter aged 8 months Ellen Hannaghan ? Aunt aged 54 any help gratefuly accepted thanks wendy claridge |
