Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	HELP!, finding it a bit difficult to do our tree as my dad was fostered as a baby. I have a few details which might match up with someone elses findings: my dad, Neil Penman was born in St Mary Abbots hospital,London 18/8/1951(Penman family had moved down from Scotland),his fathers name was Thomas, occupation;general labourer. Mothers name Dorothy Maud Penman nee Freeman. Neil was first in a childrens home in Appledore, North Devon.He was briefly fostered by Paddy Cooke, but then fostered by the Summerill family.Neil had at least 2 older sisters who he was photographed with a few yrs later(they were in a childrens home in Yorkshire), but was thought to have more brothers and sisters, some younger and older.
