Trying to find Macbeth

I'm trying to find decendants of Alexander Francis Macbeth, born in 1822, probably in London. His father, also Alexander, was born somewhere in Caithness, Scotland and was decorated for his involvement onboard HMS Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar. Alexander Francis married twice, firstly to Harriet Cock and then to Janet Wells. He had 3 children by Harriet, Alexander James Macbeth (b1849), Edward Thomas Macbeth (b1854) and W illiam Charles Macbeth (b1854). By Janet he had 6 children, Eva (1862), Frank (1865), Arthur (1866), Emily (1868), Sydney (my Grandfather, 1870) and Charles Hilton (1876). Eva, Arthur, Emily and Charles all married in the 1880s so there should have been some progeny somewhere - in fact I know that Greatuncle Charlie had a daughter Mabel. If any of these are amongst your ancestors then please get in touch. Thanks and regards, Laurie Gaymer. |
