Ellen Budd I am seeking any available information relating to the BUDD's in my family tree. I am trying to find out more about my Mother's family. She was born 27/08/1916 in the Poplar district of London. Her father was William Patrick Budd but I am unaware,as yet, where he was born. Her mother I believe was formerly Ellen Mabel Margaret Orwell. My mother had two brothers William and Richard both now deceased. Sadly my mother passed away in February of this year and I was unable to obtain any further information before her death. I believe that her mother died when she (my Mum) was about 7 years old. I had heard my Mum refer to possibly having spent time in a childrens home when she was young. Also she sometimes mentioned an "Aunt Rose" and having some involvement with working on a Greengrocer's "barrer" when young. I know I am probably clutching at straws but any information that could help give my search a kick start would be very welcome indeed. |
