Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 2 Send Message	I'm researching the Brooks family from Govan, Glasgow. They are the descendents of Thomas Brooks and Agnes "Nancy" Getty who were married in 1859 in Co. Antrim, Ireland. They moved to Glasgow around 1870-1874. Their children were: Margaret 1860 (married Alexander McRoberts), John 1863 (married Annie Kelly), Thomas 1865 (married Christina Crawford), Henry 1869 (married Isabella Sawers), Samuel 1870 (married Jane Forbes) and Catherine Cameron Brooks 1874 (married John McKinnon Ross). Most of them worked in shipbuilding on the Clyde. Thanks!
