Trying to find Milligan

Barbara Report 16 Apr 2003 21:33

This site works! I posted the message below on 16/04/2003 and on the 28/8/2004 a cousin (William's son) in America answered my plea. Through him I found that 4 of my aunts and uncles are still alive plus numerous cousins. Needless to say, lots to catch up on.... "I am searching for any relations of Alexander Milligan born 11th April 1914 at 29 Preston Street, Bridgeton, Glasgow. His parents were Alexander, a Colliery labourer born 18th April 1889 who had a brother named William, born in Kinning Park, Glasgow and Ellen Latimer McLean, his mother born 1892. He was the eldest of 11 children, the other names being John, David, William, Margaret, Barbara and Catherine + 4 more who's names I don't have, but one possibly Thomas. Originally either my great or g/g grandparents came over from Ireland. Plus any information on Thomas or John McLeans. Any information would be greatly appreciated".
