McMahon - Thomas Vincent. Born in the Borheen area of Ennis, County Clare on 15 Nov 1908. Father was Patrick (or Frederick) McMahon - possibly an Engine Fireman. Mother was Mary Hoare. Believe he had brothers. He joined the British Army (Lancashire Fusiliers) and died in Nigeria (July 1941) whilst attached to the Royal West African Frontier Force. He left a wife (Mabel nee Lauder) and daughter (Maureen) *Hope to hear from anyone with more information on Thomas or his immediate family. I am his grandson. |
