Looking for connections to Tom Hinchliffe father of Winifred, Gwendoline and Glenfinella. He married Elizabeth Best and they appear with their children on the 1901 census for Sheffield living at Newcastle Street. Sadly Elizabeth Toms wife died in 1906 when the children were still young. I can trace Tom to around 1910 and then he disappears. His children also by 1933 at the time of their marriages (Gwendoline and Glenfinalla) are living on Princess Street at Attercliffe with George and Eliza Phillipson. Family history is that this couple brought them up. My question is why? Can you add anything to this family history? Are you connected to the family, I would love to hear from you. |
