Trying to find details of Harold Haydon (my maternal grandfather) as I know nothimg about him. All I do know is that he married Catherine Parr, and there were two children that I am sure of; Joan (my mother) born c1917 Owen Francis (Frank) DOB not known. There was a connection with Luton at some time. I do know that they lived in the Litherland area of Liverpool around WW2, and then moved to North Wales, where he died in the early 60's. While in Liverpool it is believed he worked in Lewis's department store. Apparently there is also an Australian connection, my mother used to get a standard Christmas present every year, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Any information will be most welcome Paul Pearce-Smith |
