Trying to find Murray

I am looking for any relatives of my great grandad Arthur Gordon Murray, born around 1880. Had around 7 children, four of which I know were called Jimmy, Gordon, Joyce, and Doreen (my gran). He ran a chip shop on York Street in Sandyford, Newcastle upon Tyne (c.1930/1940ish), although he was a painter/decorator and sign writer by trade. The chip shop was owned by the Appelby family who were very well known, especially around the fish quay area. He is also rumoured to have owned/run a chip shop on Brighton Grove in Fenham, Newcastle upon Tyne - how true that is Im not sure. His immediate family were from Byker. If anyone has any information, please an they pass it on. Thank you.
