Member Since: December 2002 Posts: 4 Send Message	Seeking further info about my great-grandfather, Mendel Hyams. Born c. 1860 in Poland. Came to England with his brothers Yehiel & Osher probably in 1880's. Mendel's father Solomon was a publican but not sure if this was in Poland or England. Mendel married Flora Symonds (daughter of Saul Symonds/Simons And Hannah Elkan) in 1887 at the North London Synagogue. mendel went abroad in 1891 & possibly died around 1893. Any connections?
