I am trying to find relations descended from Alexander Livingstone McPhee b. 1835 in Scotland,housepainter. Married to Catherine Williams in 1862 in Wolverhampton. Sons born in Wolverhampton - Alexander, 1863: Oliver 1865; - Edwin Livingstone McPhee. 1866; William,1869; and James, 1877. were born in Manchester. Edwin Livingstone McPhee later moved to Rochdale and was an umbrella maker, married Mary-Ellen Taylor. Oliver and Sarah had two boys, Oliver and James, living in Salford in 1901. He was a salesman of artificial flowers. Their two sons were born in 1893 and 1897. Anyone knowing anything about any of these? e-mail [email protected] |
