Am trying to find members of the Cowden family. My grandfather was John Alexander Cowden. Born, possibly, 1860 to 1870 in Scotland probably Dumfries area. He married Fanny and lived in Levenshulme, Manchester for many years. Had eight children. Ethel, Eric, Gertrude,Fraser, David, Jessie, Frank and Eva. Remarried after the death of his wife. Died in Cleveleys, Blackpool in his eighties. I am the daughter of one of his children -Vera Jessie. I know my aunt Gertrude used to visit and correspond with an Ann who I think was a relative. I live in Surrey, England and would very much like to trace my family tree. Perhaps you can help. |
