Trying to find any info; on my grandparents James Maxwell Massey and Elizabeth Massey formerly Armstrong maiden name unknown both born in the late 1800s andlived in the low fell area of Gateshead TYNE/wear my grandmother had 3 children from her first marraige ;Steven Armstrong who emigrated to Canada in the 30s or 40s,Jack Armstrong and Edith Armstrong on marrying my grandfather they had 3 daughters Ginnie, Elizbeth and Isabella my mother my grand father was a blacksmiths striker but i understand he was partial to a bit of illegal poaching any help would be grealy appreciated |
