My Grandfather Joshua George Burge was born in 1909 in I believe the Mitcham area (Surrey). Son of Samuel and Sarah Burge. Family originally seemed to come from Bermondsey/Peckham/Camberwell area. Joshua was from a large family and I would very much like to trace my relatives. Joshua was married to Doris and lived for many years in the Mytchett, Surrey area. Any information would be welcome unsure of his brothers and sisters names as large family (possibly Arthur, Horrace, Henry, Maud, Nellie, Jessie?). Samuel's fathers name was also Joshua George and he was also married to Sarah, his Grandfathers name was Benjamin. Would love to hear from any one connected. |
