Does anyone have any links with the JEFFRIES families who lived in the Chelsea, Kensington, Knightsbridge and Brompton areas of London in the 1800s? There was James Jeffries, a butler, b.c.1800 married to Charlotte living in Orford St, Chelsea. They had a son, James, b 1827, a journeyman house painter. He married Charlotte Elizabeth Robinson in 1848 and they had four sons: James, b.c.1850, John (1854), Walter (1856), Charles (1857) and daughter, Charlotte (1859). Please get in touch if these names ring bells. Thanks. |
