Seeking other descendants of William John Beckett, born Crayford Kent 1846. Married Mary Ann Sexton, Norwood 1873. Was licensee of several London pubs -the Queens Head,Vauxhall Walk 1876, the Lord Raglan, 392 Wandsworth Road, where two of his children were born,1876-78, the Woolpack, Gravel Lane, Southwark,1880-81, a beer house at 26 Vauxhall Walk 1885, the William the Fourth, 330 Kings Road, Chelsea 1886-1887. Mary Ann (known as Rose Marion) died 1886. Their son Thomas William Alfred Beckett (born Feb.4th 1878) is believed to have emigrated (South Africa?) circa 1913. William John believed to have died circa 1900 but no registration found to date. |
