I'm interested to hear from any descendants of the following: Children of William Monk, solicitor's clerk, b. 1842-3, d. 1913, and Eliza, maiden name probably Aldridge: • Eliza Louise (AKA Louise) Monk, b. 1874 Kentish Town, London. • Harry John Monk, b. 1876 Kentish Town; m. Elizabeth Martha Cox in 1905. Children of Thomas Monk, railway fireman and engine driver, b. 1846, Kentish Town (younger brother of William), d. Hendon in early 1900s: • Henry William Monk, b. 1872 Kentish Town, postman, m. Georgina Dawes, 1905. • His sister Jane Emily Mary Monk, b. 1874 Kentish Town; m. Alfred Pond, 1895. They had a daughter, Lillie Rose Pond, b. c. 1896. • Their brother Thomas Arthur Monk, postman, b. 1877 Kentish Town, m. Gertrude Agnes Cooper, 1906. William and Thomas had an older sister, Jane, who was my g-g-grandmother, and a younger sister Emily. I'm trying to piece together the whole family. Thank you! Claire Monk |
