Looks like Albert and Emmiline were 'partners' as no marriage certificate available. States on my father's birth cert (Bertie Gordon Church) that they were 'married' at Linton Devon Nov 1902 Trying to trace my grandfather Albert Church, born Easton nr Spaldwick circa 1865. Hairdresser and wigmaker. Worked in Oxford area,Ayr Scotland.Worked for king Albert(Bertie). Grandfather and the king died the same day in 1936. Was married in 1902 at Lynton, Devon, to Emmiline Edith Mary Grimson, (Born Whitstable) 13/03/03. I have traced an Albert Church thru the 1881 Census. Born 1864 Easton, Spaldwick, Hunts but trade shown as tailor as was his father John Church. Also had a Brother Benjamin who i believe may have played cricket for Kent around 1910 +/- 2years.
