Find Ancestors

Yes that's right the above murdered his grandmother Sarah Scutt in 1886 he was 21 years old at the time and lived with his grandparents. I have seen the article regarding the murder in the Dorset County Chronicle 14/10/1886 and know that he went to Winchester court but cannot find any further details of his life or death! It seems as though he just dissappeared. I wonder can anyone help me solve this mystery? The reason i am trying to find this out is because i need to know if he was related to me. His parents names were Robert R Russell c1842 Maria Scutt c1837-6/1873 His father then remarried 27/12/1873 Weybridge Surrey to Emma Jane Smith but Sidney did not go to live with them he stayed with his Grandparents Sarah & Richard Scutt Any help?

Kathleen What i am trying to find is details of what happened to Sidney after he appeared in court, i cannot find any death details of him but also cannot find him on any census after the court case.

Richard seems to appear alone in 1891 , as an ag lab, born Bere Regis. he'll be in prison- do you know where he was sent?- chances are he got 'life'

You would have to buy the certificate to find out the cause of death. At that time I would imagine he would have been sentenced to death and not given life imprisonment. Kath. x
