Hi Vera, Thanks for all your help, Trust my family to be hiding behind the sofa on census night. I think I'll have to order some death certificates to see if that turns anything up. Thomas' death Cert may give me a better idea where they were living in 1851, and I may be able to pinpoint them from that. Thanks again to all that have helped, Ruth.

Hi Vera, Sophia (mother) did not re-marry, she died Sophia Plumb, June Qtr. 1875 Brentford vol. 3a. p. 41. Age 85. Possible death for Thomas Plumb Sept. Qtr. 1854 Brentford vol. 3a. p. 37. Ruth.

Can someone help me to find Sophia Plumb in 1851 - 1861 please. She was born about 1791 in Hounslow, Middlesex. In 1871 she is found living with her daughter Mary Ann Hayward (b. 1820 Hounslow) in Hounslow.
