Looking for Owen G Bywater, born c1832 in Huntingdon, Hunts. He should be with wife Emma, born 1832 in Godmanchester, Hunts and daughter Annie M, born 1857 in Huntingdon and probably other children. I've tried every possible combination of names on Ancestry with no result. Can anybody find them?

Thank you Jeanette. I have all the other census information but unable to find them on 1871. I think they had a daughter named Emma who is not on the 1881 census.

am still trying, they must be behind a bush or something! I am not trotting around in Huntingdon High St- hypothetically you understand!- any idea who their neighbours were or where they actually lived in the high st in 1881?

Thank you Ann. Abducted by aliens I think. I wondered if Caroline and Emma were twins as they were christened at the same time but I found a birth for a Caroline Bywater in Huntingdon June quarter of 1861 but couldn't find a birth for Emma on Ancestry.

Thank you everybody. I took Ann's advice and looked at Owen's neighbours in 1861 and 1881 and one was Thomas Leach who was next door in both censuses and was born c1813 in St Ives, Huntingdonshire. However, he is also missing off the 1871 census so I think those records are missing for some reason. I really appreciate everyone's efforts to help me.

Thank you Ann. Yes, Owen's father was also Owen Griffin Bywater and he was a Cordwainer which is of course a boot and shoemaker. Also Owen had a son of the same name but he died in Northampton June quarter of 1890 aged 31.
