Do you have Ellens birth certificate? If so will have Marys maiden name on it, from that we can try and find the marriage. Still looking for them on earlier census. |

Michelle. on the 71 census there's a William Ginn, age 35, born Newington, Surrey, living in St. Pancras. He's a General Smith, out of employ, living with his parents, John and Maria and it says that he's widowed. Could he be yours? Keith, did you say that was well spotted or that I am well potted? I know you would have found it but I got there first, ha-ha! Margaret |

Michelle, if you think that the guy on the 71 census who is widowed is yours, there's a marriage on IGI of William Charles Ginn and Rosina Harrison, 8 Dec. 1867, Pentonville, London, then there's a death, on Free BMD, of Rosina Ginn, 1869, Clerkenwell, age 31, then a marriage of William Charles Ginns and Mary Hearn, on IGI, 24 Dec. 1871, Pentonville, London. Possible? Margaret |
