william was 24 and asoldier at aldershot in 1866 was married to ,ann mclaughlin

they were married in the county of farham surrey

i have just googled yorktown the place were william married ann and it keeps coming up america,is that right or is there ayorktown in england

There's the City of York. I guess that could be written as York Town. Oh, it's not in Surrey though... There's a Yorktown Road in Sandhurst, Surrey. I guess that means there was a Yorktown there. If you look at old-maps*com it shows Yorktown on the Address search.

Joyce, there was a York Town in Surrey it was near Hawley/Blackwater/Camberley as some of my Ancestors came from here too. If you google york town surrey it comes up with information. best wishes Hilary

found yorktown,but the only thing with this marriage cert it only gives the place not the address which most certs do,how would i find the address of both couples

What was William's wife's father's name? Might be able to find her on Census. Have had no luck with William - many William Tylers but none with father John
