Hi there, I have just received my grandad's WW11 RAF service records. I have managed to work out some of the abbreviations from research on the internet but I still cannot work out some of the others. Is there anyone who is any good at diciphering what they might mean. Or if anyone has any advice on how I can get to the bottom of this I would be very grateful. Many Thanks |

Have a look at this site:- http://www.worldwar2exraf(.)co.uk/acronyms%20A.htm remove brackets. It gives a list of abbreviations used in the RAF Kath. x |

Thanks Kathleen, I have tried this and they have sorted some of my questions out. However alot of them have numbers and they aren't on the list. |
