Hi I agree, looks like her husband is a (flint?) glass dealer on the 1851. Regards Gail.

I think it says Glass Dealer. It's the funny way the Victorians had of using fs instead of ss. Kath. x

Hi, Can someone please read an occupation for me please? 1861 census, Mary Ann Phillips, Widow, RG9 146, folio 13, page 21. It looks like Glofe Dealer.? Thanks Sandra
