I am probably going next week. Let me have the details and I will see what I can do. Incidentally for future reference, they are very helpful. If you contact them and ask for help they will look up a specific item for you but you have to be specific. I can't find their contact number at this moment but will find it if you like. Wendy Go to http://seax.essexcc.gov.uk. You can search as a guest and you can e-mail them. [I hope I can include this here?]

Hello....I was wondering if anyone is going into the Essex Record Office and could I ask for a couple of Electoral Roll look up's. I have the full address, which is in Leigh on Sea, Essex and am in need of knowing the occupants names on the 1935/1936 electoral roll (my Nan will be a boarder there, as I am trying to establish that she was staying with her Step Sister, if so it will tell me her Step Sisters married name, etc...??). Also, for the years 1976 to 1978...at the same address. I do not live in the UK and any help will be much appreciated. Many THANKS in advance. Regards, Dawn.
