I have searched and searched on Ancestry for the following info with no luck. Are they not there or is it me having increased senior moments? I would appreciate any help. 1861 census William Threlfall/Threfall born abt 1834 in Rochdale (according to 1871 census) Rebecca Threlfall/Threfall born 1836 Broughton Preston Alice Threlfall/Threfall born 1859 Preston Lancs 1881 census Leonard Threlfall/Threfall born 1864 Preston Lancs. The only William Threlfall I found in 1861 was born 1834 at Pilling. Lancs and living with Elizabeth. This must be the wrong one. Good luck Irene |

Irene, Jim and Gyneth, Thank you very much for your help. Jim these are my Threlfalls in the 1871/81 censuses. I will keep on looking for them in the 1861 census oh why did I ever start searching for my ancestors. It's too late to stop now I am well and truly addicted.
