hi all i have been trying to find out what sort of an establishment, 56-60 lugard road in peckham , camberwell was in 1901 . i have found 3 of my ancestors in this place which seems like a school. susan oliver 1889, daisy oliver and lily oliver. i do know that these children were not brought up by there parents and i am trying to find what happened to them. there mother was my great great grandmother and the children were known about but not really talked about amoungst the older generations. if any one can help me find out what sort of a school this was i would be really grateful |

The address is Queen's Road............. The School Proprietor was William Street, age 52, born Crich, Derbyshire There is nothing to indicate the type of school.......the pupils were of both sexes. Reg |

yes i think queens road and lugard road are linked. not sure maybe wrong |

susan did live with her mother and father untill before 1900 when her mother remarried arthur walden, her mother was disinherited by her family for divorcing orice |

hi still really want to find this information, it is really bugging me now. i thought it was 56-60 lugard road, but it could be queens road not to sure. but one or the other. any help would be great |
