Hi Maria Just checking, you might be as daft as I am. I see her on the census under her married name and she does give her age as 65 on the 1891 census, and it creeps slowly up by a year or so as the census years go by so I think Sheila has found the right family. Regards Gail. |

Young is her single name - she married in 1848 - her married name was Merritt. |

Hi Don't forget ages were rounded up and down on the 1841 and are not exact, but there is a Charlotte Young born 1830 Newington on the 1881 and 1871 census but that of course is her married name. Please don't take offence because non meant - but is that her pre married name. (we all get confused at times with this genealogy lark). Regards Gail |
