Hi Everyone, Does anyone know where The Virginia Street Chapel is or was please, as it is listed as the place of my 5x GGranparents getting married in 1839. I know that it was in the East End Of London somewhere. Any help greatfully appreciated! Many many thanks! Kind Regards! Angie.

Hi , According to LondonTown dot com Viginia Street is in the borough of Tower Hamlets. Hope that helps, Joan

Hi Angie There is a bit of info about it on the East of London FHS website although it doesn't say where it is. It was a Catholic Mission founded in the mid 18th century and the only registers they have for the chapel are 1832-40. I have looked at a street map and there is a Virginia St in Whitechapel just south of Cable Street. Maureen
