looking for florence,please help

i would like help to find a florence ashby,all i know about her is that she had a child in 1926, his name was alfred ward ashby (no father on birth cert),she lived at 123 beckett street,leeds,she was a leather glazer,and worked at 2 holdworth buildings,prince street, but i cant find date of birth or death and dont know where else to look,please if anyone can help me before i go mad looking for her

There is this birth in Leeds:- Name: Florence Ashby Year of Registration: 1905 Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec District: Leeds (1837-1929) County: Yorkshire - West Riding Volume: 9b Page: 378 Of course, she might not have been born in Leeds, but this looks promising. Kath. x
