	Hi Mary You need to use www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk (you'll need to buy some credits on there). Using that site, you can download an image of the marriage cert for William & Catherine. The marriage details will tell you William's age and his parent's names, which will help you find the right William Keenan birth (there are 43 William Keenans born in Scotland between 1855 and 1878!). You can then download an image of the birth cert once you've found a likely entry. Cheers Richard

	Mary what were their ages on the marriage certificate & what were their parents names? If you dont have the marriage certificate then Scotlands people web site will let you view it but it is pay per view. Georgina.
