Hi Jaqueline, Many thanks. I have it now. I expected it to be a township in its own right. Wolstanton covers so much and numpty that I am did not think of looking there. Newchapel St James covers Brerehurst (spelt differently) so that must be them on the 51. I will not forget for next time. Thanks for his death Judith Julie |

hi julie if you look under wolstanton on genuki kidsgrove and brieryhurst are mentioned, not a lot is said but it states what the main employment etc, was there at the time. regards jackie. |

Can any one tell me waht kidsgrove would come under on the census. I have a David Beswick born 1848 in Kidsgrove. On the 61 he is with his mother living Ranscliffe kidsgrove and the 71 married living Brieryhurst Kidsgrove. I can not find anything for either of them before this. Genuki does not list Brieryhurst or kidsgrove and I can find nothing for the town on igi. Help Julie |
