Sorry just had to get your attention :) Can anyone tell me where I can find a list of property owners in the 1900's in the London Area? According to gossip in my family, my great great grandmother owned resturants in london. Also she was(according to gossip) ment to of died by falling down the stairs and it made the local newspaper? Any ideas where I might find that to? Any help will be really appreciated as Im banging my head against the wall trying to find this woman...starting to think she didnt even exist!! ha ha thank u all xx

What years and areas of London are you talking about as the local library of that area may have details of her death. If you bought a copy of her death certificate it would give you the address she lived. Irene

Hi, All I have is her year of birth which is 1887 and that she married Arthur Stanley Page. The area they lived in was Clerkenwell or Horbon?? This is why its such a nightmare for me.... Thanks for your help x

yeap done that....but the problem is, is that I've been told she was born in londonderry in Ireland. How she got to England no one seems to know which is also a nightmare. I was told she was a respected business lady so Im not even sure she would of used her married name, which proves to be a bigger problem as her last name was FORD! ha ha. I've even tried to find the family, but again had no luck whatsoever...... thanks xx

Not sure if Kellys is the directory. I found one online for a publican relative in Wales (not quite the same thing though) Selena
