amelia/sally please help!!!

hi pamela, no am sure its not 2 wives, amelia is his 2nd wife but first was jennie, the reason for asking is an older family member was sure he was with an aunt sally, so thought i would see if amelia was ever changed to sally! but am now thinking as family member is quite old it could possibly have been aunt milly??? jenny x |

Hi Jennifer Are you sure it is not two wives? I have one relie who had two wives, both with the same first name. Took ages to figure it out - POB were different on consecutive censes. Regards Pam |

does anyone know if the name sally was evr used as a name variant of amelia??? i have searched name websites but can't seem to find anything! the reason i am asking is i have 1 wife 2 names amelia/sally??!! and it got me thinking that i actually had an aunt who was called alice but everyone knew her as sally... so was wondering if the same was done for amelia?? if anyone can shed a small spattering of light on this i will be eternally grateful! thanks jenny xx |
