Thanks Brenda!! How did you find the 1851 one? I've looked and looked but not found that one! I suppose it is the right family-All I had was her birth and then her after her marriage later on-could find nothing previous! Will look nto this more now-Other end of the town than I expected-maybe I was too specific in my search! Many thanks x

Thanks Joan -I've not actually managed to find Ellen on 1851-although there is a Holloway family in the right street-but wonder if her name is down wrong-Have her marriage later on to Charles Sargent-same area. but its the early stuff I'm strugglng with really-thanks

Have put another thread actually as well-asking if anyone is going to Records office as well-but here goes! Baptisms of Sargent family from Mary Steps and Mary Major. Also anything to do with Ellen Sophia Saunders Holloway-born C 1848 and any Bakers or Tapp family from the same area really! so quite a lot really!
