Are you sure of her birth year? There is this birth in Bethnal Green on Ancestry:- Name: Catherine Bryan Year of Registration: 1904 Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar District: Bethnal Green County: Greater London, London, Middlesex Volume: 1c Page: 190 If you know her parent's names from the electoral registers, you could use them as a checking point when ordering any birth certificate. Can anyone please help me to try & trace my grandmother Catherine Bryan, born 1889 or 1900, from Bethnal Green east london I cannot find her anywhere on the census, its as if she didnt exist, I have traced her family from the 1900's to the 1930's through electoral role from the library, I have found her there, but would like to trace her further back, apparently she used to talk about the Shadwell Basin, so what the connection there is i dont know, would love to find her parents & siblings. much appreciated Denise |
