Or you could try e-mailing a local library to see if they hold copies. Google first to see which is near or try Genuki for info they have a section on newspapers and where copies are held. I did this for a paper close to Grimsby and Grimsby library looked up all the details and sent me pages of A4 copies of the report all free of charge!!!

Hello Is there anyone who could do a look-up for me please in newspapers? My grandfather John Henry Taylor lost his leg in an accident whilst working in a mill. Family rumour has it that this happened not too long after his marriage. He married in 1905 at Glinton Northamptonshire, close to the border of Lincolnshire, and a child was born there in 1907. By 1909 he lived in Lincolnshire in the Bourn area. I assume this sort of accident would have made the newspapers ? Possibly the Stamford Mercury ? Thank you if anyone can help. Sue
