does anybody has access to bastardy records for wiltshire 1728 to 1893,looking for the above born to james and thirza snook,but william ridout were the real father,john did not live with the snooks,can anybody help,we think james snook paid someone to look after him,the only clue i can give you he might have been looked after by a farmer as he became a sheperd later on in his life,which shows on his wedding cert when he married anna mary scammel on 26/12 /1872 parish of donhead st marys,many thanks
