could anyone point me in the right direction for a child placed in a children's home in Nottingham? The child's mother died in 1942 and he went into a children's home in Nottingham. This child is now deceased but family wish to learn more. Janice |

Hi Anne Sorry for the delay in answering your reply, I have been somewhat preoccupied recently as my Best Friend died of cancer. I am afraid I do not know the name of the children's home and cannot ask the person who was placed there as he died recently too. None of the family know the name just that he was placed there when his Mother died. Janice x |

Janice So sorry to hear your sad news. I just thought I might be able to help if you knew the name of the home, but I think without it, it will be very difficult. Have you contacted Nottm Archives? They're very helpful. All the best. |
