Does anyone know whether printers ever put dates on photos that were developed , only i have a photo prob 1937-1944 and it has on the back printed not hand written 3 8 33 could that be a date or just a code Carol |

H i Reg Yes it is , the photo is of my gran standing outside a house and i noticed the windows of the house were blacked out and had white crosses on them so obviously it was war time which gave me the year span just thought the date stamp should have been 43 and not 33 never mind its just me whittling on again please ignore Carol :o) |
