I received a negative reply today from the Irish Registrar General. I am looking for the berth. cert. of my grandfather Albert Bardin born 1875 in Ireland (Dublin I think). If his birth certificate is not there, can anyone advise me where next I should look. I know that his father was Patrick Bardin from Alberts marriage certificate. Any ideas ?

Hi Peter, If I were you I would change the title of your thread. No one will reply to the Irish help heading. Also I would put in info of the marriage, who he married, where and when etc. Even then there isn't any info on Ireland to check things except maybe IGI and the birth may not be on there. Betty
