Find Ancestors

Hello I am wondering if anyone can please help me with a search for Isabella Maria Brady and Richard James Dell Carr. I have found them on the 1851 Census living in Berkshire and the Head being the Husband of Isabella who was Arthur Granville Brady born 1828 Theale Berkshire. I have found Arthur in the 1871/91 Census with a new Spouse but I cannot find Isabella Brady or Richard James Dell Carr after 1851. Isabella was born in Oxfordshire in 1826 maiden name Carr and Richard James Dell Carr shown as Adopted on the 1851 Census was born about 1847 Slough Berkshire. I really would like to find them both in the 1861 Census. Thankyou so very much. Regards Marion

Thankyou Orange Blossom. You didn,t happen to come across Isabella,s Death (Wife) as in 1871 Arthur had a new Spouse and another new Spouse in 1901. Regards Marion

Thankyou again Orange Blossom. It must be the one for 1866. I was a bit confused about Richard James Dell Carr as you have him as Brady. Please excuse me Orange Blossom as I am not very good at this. Perhaps Isabella, being as she adopted him had his name changed. This is where I was going wrong as I was looking for Richard James Dell Carr through all the Census. Regards Marion

Arthur would have adopted him. It's possible he didn't know anything about being a Carr, so used Bradby. I think that is the correct spelling, unless they changed that too lol

Thankyou Orange Blossom. I have been on this all day since getting home from work no wonder I am reading Surnames all wrong. Isabella born in 1824/26 was my GGGrandmothers sister. Richard the little boy they adopted must have been my GGGrandmothers son. I am still working on this one as its a mystery.
