Sarah you dont say which area she was born & there were 3 Ellen Powell's born in 1922... Ellen M Powell born June quarter 1922 in Paddington MMN Horland ref no: 1a-77. Ellen I Powell born September quarter 1922 in Basford MMN Mountford ref no: 7b-309. Ellen J Powell born September quarter 1922 in Brentford MMN Carter ref no: 3a-149. Georgina. |

she had several children by two different name, some were by robert stocker but most were in her name powell |

well getting your mums birth cert will be a start,It will tell you Mum& Dads name hopefully,(dont want to offend if the birth was illegitimate) at least it will give you a starting point |

hello all i am trying to locate information on my nan born ellen howard 1922 in paddington, i think her father was ernest powell and her mother ellen howard... i am looking for information on any aspect of her life, i have a relationship for my nan with a robert stocker, whom she had my mother with but unable to locate a marriage, would apprieciate any help i am also looking for information on ellen powells children, think i made a mistake on saying she wwas born howard she was actually born powell in 1922 |
