Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 0 Send Message	I am trying to trace my mothers real family. She was raised under the name of Eileen Margaret Unita Richardson, Richardson being her foster mothers name. The birthdate we have is 23rd January 1916, we assume the christian name and birthdate correct. She was fostered by Stella May Richardson. In Victoria Australia. All searches I have done have come to a standstill, does anyone have any ideas.

I don't know that you can ASSUME anything, if she was fostered. I would have thought you would need to contact the Australian equivalent of our Social Services Dept to get information about fostering - if its accessible.
