Is there anyone who visits this office able to look up marriage of Edith Rose Sperrin to Edmund John Honour c1935 =/- 5 yrs at the following parishes Woodstock Cutteslow or date of deaths approx 1969/73 , Edith Rose buried at St mary's parish church,kidlington Churchyard. Any leads would be greatly appreciated, Pauline

This is the marriage reference from Ancestry:- Edith R. Sperrin, spouse Honour June qtr. 1931, Woodstock, 3a, 3003 Kath. x

Death reference for Edith:- Edith Rose Honour June qtr. 1975, Ploughley, 20, 2663 Date of birth given as 28th Dec. 1913 Kath. x

I've looked at Honour deaths from 1965 to 1975 and I can't find a death for Edmund John Honour. If you buy Edith's death certificate is should say on it either 'wife of...' or 'widow of...' which will tell you whether Edmund died before or after Edith. Kath. x

Pauline, bear in mind that a lot of parish records at record offices don't go up to the date you are after, and if they got married at the register office then there would not be a copy of their marriage certificate at the record office in any case, so I would think it would be much easier for you to order a copy of the marriage certificate from the GRO or the local register office.
