i need a look up please because i need to order my grandads birth certificate as hes got a common name but i know the birthdate now so if any body is going there i would really appreciate it. thx karen |

well lol dont say i didnt warn you,thomas thomas born 1904 in mountain ash which i believe comes under pontypridd his birth date was 27th feb ,he has no middle name. thx karen |

Ah, I hate to be the one always putting a dampener on things, but I don't really think somebody visiting Pontypridd Records Office is going to help you, since there will be no birth certificates there to look at. What you will need to do is order the birth certificate specifying the details you know such as date of birth, parents' names, or whatever, and get the GRO or the local register office to search through checking for those details, rather than quoting the reference numbers. I think it costs a little bit extra that way, or at least it does from the GRO, but it might not cost any extra to order it like that from the local register office? Kate. |
