Is there a kind person out there that would be willing to do al ook up for me please. Any Records Office would do as i need info from the National Probate Calendar that i am lead to believe is covered for all areas of the country in all offices. Maureen |

Thanks Alvin (James) Was beginning to think no-one loved me!! What i am after is for someone to look up the National Probate Calendar, i understand that every Records Office has a copy. I am looking for a chap named TREVANIAN AUSTIN FOX born 1824 Mousehole Cornwall he was a Master of a Merchant Navy ship and he died from Cholera while at sea off of the coast of Sierra Leone (or so i have been told) I cannot trace his death on GRO either in this country or on the Merchant Seaman.Lists on GRO On the 1871 census his wife was living in Greenwich and he had a son of 12 who was an inmate at the Asylum for Deceased Merchant Seaman - an Orphan, no Father. So i know he must have died between 1857 and 1871. I really dont know what looking this up entails and if i am being really cheeky by asking someone to do this for me. If its an awful lot of work then i will understand if you cant help. Many Thanks for reply to me Maureen |
