Hi I am looking for a marriage for a Albert Hollingsworth married to ?? Harradine the youngest child was born in 1913 and he was the yougest of six the eldest was Alice Hollingsworth just can't find it Margaret

are you certain they got married? perhaps you should find one of thier childrens birth cert that will have name of mother on Jeanette

maybe they did not just sent for the youngest ones birth certificate on his marriage cert. it says he fathers name was Albert William Hollingsworth. Margaret x

Youngest child of about 6 i think was born 2nd qtr if 1913 Sydney Hollingsworth PANCRAS.............and it says Harradine as the mother..................................I have his father Albert Hollongsworth in the 1901 census so he married after that Thankyou Margaret

Keep looking past when you think, as I finally found my gt gt grandads marriage in 1924 he was 80! They had been together since 1891 & now I have the huge task of working out who he was married to before this as it stated that he was a widow so he obviously couldn't marry till the 1st wife died. Maybe Sydney's mother had been previously married and so didn't marry Albert as a HARRADINE ? Gwyn

Hello Valerie thank you for that but it can't be Sydneys father as he would have been to young but could possibly be Sydneys brother, I do beleive there was an Alice Florence. Sydneys Father was 20 on the 1901 census. Sydneys mother could have been May Harradine. Thanks Margaret

Hi Margaret, Why would Albert be too young to marry in 1903? I hate to say this, but we often have people trying to find marriages on this board. Many times it turns out one of the spouses was married before and therefore unable to marry. I think this migt be the case for Albert. Minnie Maria is single in 1901 census. Can't tell which Agnes might be - there are several. Another possibility is that first wife died and he remarried - so maybe another wedding to find later (presumably before 1913). Jim
